I am back today with the mission for week 8! I am going to share what was included in the Posh on Campus package this semester. It included a ton of useful items for the summer.

This weeks goal is to post about goals that we have for the upcoming school semester. I have a few goals in mind in relation to my Poshmark! One goal is to get at least 15 sales a month from September until December. I also would like to make it a goal to get my packaging back to what it was. Including fancy mailers, notes, and tissue paper in each package. I also would love to be able to be a Posh on Campus rep again in the fall! These are some realistic goals I hope to accomplish!
Hello Everyone!
I am back with my Posh on Campus Summer mission for week 6! This week is all things sourcing! I personally love sourcing items for my posh account. I love thrifting from my local consignment boutiques and donation centers. I really enjoy sourcing, and love finding new places in my area! I have had some amazing thrift finds over the years. I will post some photos below! https://emmalynnnnnn.weebly.com/featured-items.html This week I was able to host a Coffee Chat with some fellow Poshers over zoom! We discussed some Posh topics such as best packaging tips, listing tips, sourcing items from stores and your own closet, and the best times to post to your closet! It was a great experience and I am glad I had some great Poshers attend! Thank you to all who attended and hopefully we can get together again!
Posh on Campus has created a mission for week three where we are encouraged to share our listing tips with fellow Poshers, here are some of the tips and tricks I've learned over the past few years:
I have some exciting news to share! Big things have been happening for me recently in the Poshmark Community. I was gifted the Heart and Hustle grant for the spring session of 2021. I am super grateful that Poshmark has seen my hard work shine through, and the money award has been a huge blessing!
Another exciting update is that I am officially a Posh On-Campus Summer Rep! I am super thankful to be a part of this amazing group this summer. I will be posting missions and updates here more often so stay tuned! Thank you all! Hi everyone!
There will be a new upload to my Poshmark closet on March 26th! There will be tons of new items that I've been curating over the past month. I can't wait to show you all what I've been finding. Leave your Email if you want to be notified when I post. Below is a sneak peek photo! The presentation of items when arriving to a customers mail box is the best way to show customers that you are a serious seller and you apperciate their purchase. Below is an example of one of the various ways I package sales from my closet: There are a few different elements that go into a good package.
1. The item: Make sure the item is clean and in the same condition that you listed it as. 2. Tissue paper: A great addition to any package, makes the item look professional and well taken care of. 3. Business / Thank you card: Make sure you are promoting your business while also telling your buyer that you appreciate the purchase you made from your closet. 4. Free gifts: Always include some sort of gift to tell the buyer that you are glad they purchased. I typically add in a few Brandy Melville stickers into each package. 5. Ribbon: A cute way to tie this all together! Of course, all of this is optional, but I get raving reviews constantly about how great my packaging is. It is a cute way to show the buyer you want them to return to your account and thank them for the purchase. Let me know how you package your sales by contacting me here! Below are some links to great packaging items that I have loved using in Poshmark shipments: (purple text is a link you can click on) Tissue Paper Bags Ribbon Stickers I thought that it would be good if I linked some free, easy to use apps and services that can help boost sales for your closet. I have had great experiences with these resources and I hope you all can use these as well. Enjoy! (purple text is a link to click on) 1. Free Shipping Supplies: One of my favorite things about Poshmark is that it uses the United States Postal Service. USPS offers free shipping boxes and mailers in any post office or for free ordering online. I utilize this rescource often and I pick up or order boxes weekly. The boxes and mailers are high quality, but are not the most appealing in terms of looks. I often decorate the exterior of the boxes or mailers to make the package look more customized. This free way to get shipping supplies makes the cost you are spending on packaging materials low, leaving more room for a profit. 2. Canva: Canva is the app that I use for all of my marketing and promotional posts for my closet. This app is easy to use, free, and gives a large variety of templets. I would highly recommend using Canva as a tool and resource. The free designs are great and they are totally customizable. Canva is great for promoting any sales or news for your closet. I have even used Canva to design a business card which I include in every sale (shown below). If anyone else has any great free tips for making Poshmark easier and more profitable please reach out and let me know!
When I first became active on Poshmark I had received a purchase in the mail that had included a free headband and a couple stickers. This small but generous gift made me excited and wanting to buy more items from the account. Over the years I have received a variety of free gifts on Poshmark. Ranging from small things like stickers and hair ties, to receiving items like swimsuits and tee shirts. With every free gift I’ve gotten I have also left a 5-star review. I began to wonder how I could add in my own free gifts into packages without losing a ton of profits. Free gifts are a good idea for many reasons, they boost ratings, increase sales, and leave the customer wanting more pieces from your closet. The first thing to discuss when talking about free gifts is the boost it gives to your “love notes” page. Below, I have added reviews of people who have received a free gift: The reviews and the customer satisfaction when receiving a free gift is always positive and boosts the overall ratings in your closet. The second factor is the increased sales in your closet. Often times, if someone makes me an offer I will counter with a higher price. This allows me to then go ahead and message them in a bundle and offer a deal. I often times say a variation of “Hi! Thank you so much for the offer, I countered and if you decide to accept, I can ship today with a free gift”. This works a large percent of the time and leaves me with more sales and more customers accepting offers. The only problem with this idea is how do you get enough free gifts? Often times I ship out around 20 packages a week and sometimes find it hard to keep up with adding free gifts into every box. Below are some ideas and links to good quality items that work well as free gifts. (Click on the purple text and it will direct you to the link) Amazon Links: 1. Scrunchies 2. Beauty Face Masks 3. Bracelets 4. Key Chains Dollar Tree Links: 1. Face Masks 2. Hair Clips 3. Hair Scrunchies 4. Travel Size Body Lotion If buying options like these is not a possibility for you, finding items from around your house or room can be just as good. I recently cleaned out my room after moving back from college. I added everything I was getting rid of to a large box next to my shipping supplies. Over the next few weeks I would grab something from the box to add to a package with each sale. These were little things like coin pouches or necklaces. I cleaned out my room while at the same time making my customers overall experience better. Gifts can be a pathway to returning customers and great ratings.
