On July 9th I will be doing my next Brandy Melville drop. I plan to have around 10 items that range from gently used to new with tags. Some rare pieces are going to be in this drop! I plan to have a few oversized tees, leopard items, amara pieces, and some belle tanks. I plan to also have a free gift for the first person who makes a purchase from the drop like last time. So if you want to stay up to date about the drop please fill out the form below so I can be sure to notify you when the items are up!

Over the past month I have been trying to find cheap new summer clothes that are good quality and in style. I’ve purchased a ton of new clothing all from Poshmark, for the most part the items have been great. I’ve been finding these items most of the time for under or around $10. I highly recommend all of these items below! Top Choice: Colorfulkoala Buttery Soft High Waisted Leggings Ever since buying my first pair of these I have fallen completely in love with everything about them. They have the most comfortable fabric that make them a great dupe to the Lululemon Align leggings. I love how these leggings look and feel when I wear them. I also am fond of how many colors they have available, my personal favorites right now are the "Dusty Rose" and "Steel Blue". They are great leggings for anyone looking for high quality for a low price. There is multiple ways you can buy these leggings. The first way is through Poshmark, simply search the title and many should come up. Another way is through Amazon or through the Colorfulkoala website. Second Choice: Let me start off by saying that every bikini I have bought from Zaful until now has been horrible. This one that I recently purchased for $8 on Poshmark has completetly changed my mind. This Zaful bikini comes wiht two tops and one pair of bottoms that tie on the side. It is cute and is totally in style this summer. I liked this bikini so much the first time I wore it I purchased the same one in blue. They have this in a variety of colors on the website, but please if you plan to buy try Poshmark first. They often sell brand new for seven to ten dollars and ship so much faster than if you purchased directly from zaful. Also it's great to support fellow Poshers! Third Choice: Brandy Melville's leopard print amara tank top is a great summer style that can be purchased cheaply if you keep your eyes out for one. These usually sell on Poshmark for $40 or more, but I was able to buy one for $5. This top is flattering and is no longer on the Brandy US website so you can always resell it easily. Hi everyone!
I just wanted to keep you all updated on my most recent Brandy Melville drop. The first person to purchase from the drop (which ended up being a $82 bundle) received the pink pouch package as a free gift. I listed 26 items and sold over half on the first day. I am planning on doing a detailed post about the benefit of "dropping" a large number of items in a small period of time. Check out my closet @EMMALYNNNNNN to see if there is any Brandy left. Thank you to all that have already purchased from the drop! The beginning of my Poshmark experience started similar to most of yours. I was referred to Poshmark by a friend, and I figured it would be a good way to make some extra cash as a high school student. I began small, selling clothes for under $10 and it was simply just trying to clean out my closet. I stayed this way for about a year. I then quickly began selling items that I would find at my local secondhand stores. Items such as Levi’s jean jackets, Nike items, and vintage pieces that I thought could sell. This was fun for a while, but I sadly began to realize that I was making a minimal profit. As my love for the app grew and I started to purchase more items for myself I came to the realization that I needed to make more money and increase sales. At this point in my life I had just quit a job to move back home for the rest of the previous summer. I decided to pick a brand that I could sell that my peers loved. I had sold a lot of my own Brandy Melville in the past and it always brought in a profit. I fixed my focus onto selling Brandy Melville as hard as I could. Without a job and a new abundance of free time I found myself beginning to make my Poshmark my full-time job. That phase lasted for the summer months, and when I went off to college and became extremely busy, I found myself back in the “cleaning out the closet” phase. March of 2020 hit, and I was moving out of my dorm room and back into my parents’ house. I found myself once again in the same situation as the previous summer. I quickly began selling Brandy Melville again and began to bring in sales like I had never experienced. Often times shipping 30+ packages a week. The closing of the Brandy Melville website brought a large crowd to my shop. I am now selling Brandy Melville (amongst other brands) and have a deep knowledge for the brand and a mastery of the Poshmark app. My suppliers and inventory are constantly changing, but if you are planning on being a reseller here are some tips:
1. Buy only in bundles. This not only saves you money in shipping costs, but you can often times get a better price. 2. Check your local outlet stores. If you have outlet stores in your area, I would highly recommend checking them out. Some of my best finds have been at a Pacsun outlet in my area. 3. Make connections. This can happen in a variety of ways. Build a network on Poshmark that will give you returning customers who leave good reviews. This comes by utilizing friendly communication, packaging your items so the purchase becomes an experience, and encouraging returning customers (which all will be covered in coming posts). To those of you asking how to grow quickly and become successful, all I can tell you is that it takes time and effort. Nothing for me happened overnight. I plan to give you all the ideas and techniques I have learned so you can all do the same. Now what I am currently working on…. I have been selling Brandy Melville Mystery Bundles on my page for about a year and a half now. I have also begun to “drop” large collections of Brandy Melville all at once which has shown a large increase in sales and sale speed. I plan to cover these topics in later posts, but if you have any questions don’t be afraid to contact me through my Poshmark @emmalynnnnnn. Shipping can often be the hardest part of a sale for some users. It often takes time and effort that some people don't have the patience for. The shipping process should not be as hard as some people make it, and I am here to simplify it for you with some tips:
1. You can pick up free priority shipping boxes and mailers (shown below) at any post office, or order them from the USPS website. Making the shipping process free for sellers. 2. Print all your labels at once, and add the title of the product to the label to avoid confusion. I've had a few label mix ups, and trust me it is worth it to add some extra text into the label. Printing all the labels at once will save you multiple trips to the printer. 3. Customizing your packaging is a good way to make your closet a standout. The photo below shows some packages that I decorated. This was fun and easy for me as I enjoy drawing, I drew on the packages while watching TV and was able to design over 15 packages in an hour, and they always receive great reviews (see second photo). This is a free way to make your packaging worth the expensive shipping costs on Poshmark. 4. Another good tip is to connect with your mailman from USPS. I recently have been leaving notes on my mailbox asking the driver to come to my doorstep to pick up packages that need to be shipped. This has saved me so many trips to the post office and it makes it so much easier when I have a large shipment. My first experience selling on Poshmark started back in February of 2016. Since then, I have sold a variety of items ranging from huge amounts of Brandy Melville, to Triangl Bikinis, all the way to thrift vintage pieces. I have learned a lot over the past four years of how to make sales, keep track of inventory, and market my items to be anticipated and highly desired. After over 1,000 sales, I have created a successful closet that allows me to use Poshmark as my full-time job on top of being a college student. My major in Merchandising Management mixed with my Poshmark selling experience has encouraged me to share my tips with others. This blog will be dedicated to sharing the skills and strategies I have created and learned over the years. While also keeping you all up to date about what is happening in my closet. I will post often and make sure to share my latest ideas and successes. I hope that you can find these tips helpful when trying to sell items in your own closet.
